Dr Stephen Laing
BVetBiol/BVetSc

Veterinarian

Stephen graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Biology and Bachelor of Veterinary Science. Stephen has worked in mixed and small animal veterinary practices, as well as small animal emergency hospitals. Stephen enjoys all areas of small and large animal veterinary practice, with particular interests in small animal medicine and cattle practice.

Dr Lyndon Cleary 
BAnVetBioSc (Hons) BVSc

Veterinarian

Lyndon graduated from Sydney University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science. Following graduation he worked in a busy small animal emergency and referral specialist hospital in Sydney, before moving home to the Southern Highlands to work in mixed practice. More recently Lyndon has worked as a locum in various small animal practices.

Dr Chevonne Willis 
BAnSc (Hons) DVM

Veterinarian

Chevonne graduated from Sydney University in 2019 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Since graduating Chevonne has worked in a mixed veterinary practice in the Southern Highlands, as well as working as a locum in various veterinary practices in NSW and TAS. Chevonne enjoys all areas of small and large animal veterinary practice, with a particular interest in soft tissue surgery and cattle reproduction.

Kian

Veterinary Nurse

Kian has been working as a veterinary nurse for almost 10 years. Kian became part of the Bong Bong Veterinary Hospital team in January 2022, relocating from Orange to Bowral for a tree change. Kian has a particular interest in surgical nursing and hospital patient care. 

Kian has a cat called Nim and two pet rats.

Candice

Veterinary Nurse

Candice has been working as a veterinary nurse for 13 years, with a particular interest in pet nutrition. Candice has rescued a number of animals over the years including cats, dogs, horses, reptiles and birds. Candice also has a particular love of sharks and crocodiles. 

Zac

Veterinary Nurse

Zac completed his Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2018 and has worked in a number of Small Animal Hospitals since. Zac joined the Bong Bong Veterinary Hospital team in April 2023. In his down time Zac enjoys training and showing his dogs, whilst also studying a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science. 

Zac is your friendly face on reception and will answer all your questions, particularly on companion animal enrichment.

Jemma

Veterinary Nurse

Jemma is a passionate veterinary nurse with a keen interest in surgery, large animal nursing and wildlife care. Jemma joined the Bong Bong Veterinary Hospital team in 2024. When not at work, Jemma loves to explore the outdoor and stay active. Her three dogs - Bruce the cattle dog, Billy the Jack Russell, and Oreo the Cavoodle - are her constant companions on her adventures. 

Tara

Veterinary Nurse

Tara has been working as a veterinary nurse for over 12 months, having recently completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Tara joined the Bong Bong Veterinary Hospital team in March 2023. Tara has two beautiful Border Collies, Millie and Archie and a rescue cat named Shrek.

Lisa

Veterinary Nurse

Lisa has been working as a veterinary nurse for almost 6 years, including a short time nursing in Western Australia. Lisa joined the Bong Bong Veterinary Hospital team in 2023 after doing a 'big lap' and moving back home to NSW. Lisa has a particular interest in nursing hospital patients. 

Lisa has a beautiful Golden Retriever called Indy and a sassy Quarter Horse called Cruz.

Lauren

Veterinary Nurse

Lauren starting working at Bong Bong Veterinary Hospital in 2013 and completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2015. In addition to her love for animals (particularly reptiles!), she enjoys extreme sports and motorbike riding. She has a bearded dragon called Trevor.

Lucinda

Animal Attendant

Lucinda has grown up on her family farm in the Southern Highlands and is currently in Year 11. 

Lucinda joined the Bong Bong Veterinary Hospital Team in February 2023 and loves working with large and small animals. Lucinda has a Sheepdog cross Poodle called Danny.
